This is the first in a 3-part feature series on recent changes to the Indiana Criminal Code. I believe in the power of broadcast news and I strive to give voice to the voiceless. I detailed the sentencing and subsequent rehabilitation and reentry into society of a drug offender to discuss the effectiveness of community corrections programs.
For this piece I went on a ride-along with a meth task force to look at the effectiveness of meth lab disclosure in property sales. I also looked out how a compromise was reached between law enforcement and the state realtors association.
I pitched, sourced, produced and edited this two-part series on Coal Ash In Indiana for public television. I shot the video on a Sony XDCam. I put it together with Avid Media Composer. I am an MMJ one-man band.
